Notes on coaching

Peeling the onion.

In my role as coach, my work involves helping clients to develop self-awareness, establish and clarify goals and guide them to the achievement of personal and professional objectives. Coaching works to encourage a deeper understanding of the self, of others and of the complexities of the environment in which we operate.

I use a strengths-based and narrative coaching approach. My role is to allow people to explore and realise their potential in a non-judgmental space. I create a confidential and supportive environment while at the same time challenging and holding the coaching counterpart to account. The coaching is structured, future-focussed and leads to change.

My coaching programmes can be tailored to suit many scenarios, whether that be providing support to new or established teams, performance enhancement for staff and managers, or guidance for non-executive professionals. I have spent over 23 years building my career to senior executive level within a large corporation, which also enables me to provide coaching uniquely attuned to those who operate within similar environments.
